Who is this course for?
The International English Language Testing System is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the main language of communication.

What do we offer?
We offer One-to-One, One-to-Two, Group IELTS courses and they are designed for students at the B2-C1 level to develop their skills and learn some different strategies before they take the Academic IELTS test. You will study with people of a similar language level as you. If a student is at a low level, we recommend that they take a General English course to improve their language abilities before starting an IELTS course.

How will I learn?
There will be 24 hrs of live online lessons in a virtual classroom and 15 hrs of guided self-study tasks. Online guided self-study sessions will provide the targeted focus you need to achieve your desired IELTS score. You will have access to a wide range of authentic exam materials, individual study, working in pairs/group activities and will include the use of video/audio support.
You have the option to complete a full test under exam conditions and get feedback from the teacher.

How will I know how well I am doing?
Your teacher will give you live or recorded feedback on your four skills. You can arrange a maximum of 2 one-to-one tutorials with your teacher to receive targeted support to achieve your learning goals.

Will I need to do extra work at home?
Your teacher will assign homework and additional self-study tasks throughout the course and you can use the one-to-one tutorials to discuss your work or submit your answers through RAQ LMS Online, our online learning platform to get feedback from your teacher.

What will I need to study?
We will provide you with the coursebook, and other self-study materials through RAQ LMS Online platform.

You will require

A desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone
High-speed reliable internet connection
An integrated microphone in the device you are using or an attached headset to take part in lessons.

This course will provide you with guidance on the following test techniques.

-Scanning for details	-Following a conversation and listening for specific information, attitudes and opinions.	-Present, organise and compare statistical data. - Describe an object, a sequence of events or explain how something works.	-Respond to questions about everyday topics with sufficient detail.
-Understanding the meaning of difficult words.	-Following an academic argument/lecture and listening for main ideas, specific information, attitude and speaker’s opinion.	Task 1: General -Write a letter either asking for information, explaining a situation or complaining. -Ability to express reason supported by examples and/or a solution.	-Speak at length on a given topic by organizing your ideas coherently.
-Understanding the opinion of the writer.	- Completing different question types such as: matching, short answer, multiple choice, completing a summery etc.	Task 2: Academic & General -Write an essay in response to an opinion or a problem. -Ability to discuss issues, construct an argument.	-To talk about more abstract issues by justifying opinions, analysing, discussing and speculating about issues.
